Legalizing of marijuana raises health concerns

     While this article begins by presenting an overview of the situation, it quickly delves into the many potential health risks of pot. The end message? Weed is not as harmless as it may seem, and there are numerous public health threats that legalization poses. Thus, if marijuana must be legalized, we should proceed with caution and understand the risks. The air of “oh, it’s safe and okay” surrounding marijuana is not accurate. Thus, he is asserting that people need to be informed before they use marijuana, especially when it comes to young people. Although he does not directly say so, this author is likely against legalization. Either way, we know for sure that he is pro-education. He values facts over popular attitudes and personal safety over personal freedom.
