Leadership and Collaboration

Standard #10: The teacher seeks appropriate leadership roles and opportunities to take responsibility for student learning, to collaborate with learners, families, colleagues, other school professionals, and community members to ensure learner growth, and to advance the program.

Rationale: This management rationale was written during my Classroom Management course in preparation to establish routines in a future classroom setting. The rationale states my desire to establish communication and collaboration practices between the teacher and the student. I also reiterate my desire to rehearse procedures and emphasize expectation to minimize miscommunication. My philosophy has developed in a way that will allow me to collaborate with learners and ensure learner growth.
