- Instructions for using the Document Cameras are in the Beginning of Class Instructor’s Checklist on pages 5-7
- Zoom Usage Reports

- Remember, you must be the last person to join the meeting. This means you must enable “Join before host” and waiting rooms.

- For detailed notes about setting the audio in classrooms, refer to pages 1-5 in the Beginning of Class Instructor’s Checklist.
- Are you or your students hearing echoes over Zoom? Since some faculty and students are using Zoom in the same classroom, sometimes the microphone on one computer picks up the audio from a different computer’s speaker. This is know as feedback loop, which can cause that echoing sound you may hear in class. When students are having in-class discussions or asking questions, here are some strategies you can use to prevent feedback loops:
- #1: It is good practice to repeat what the student said, so the remote students can hear in-class students without issues.
- #2: Don’t want to repeat everything? In that case, mute both the Instructor Station microphone and the Instructor Station computer audio. Then have the student unmute the microphone on their personal device and speak to remote students that way. When student is done speaking, have the student mute themself then, unmute both the Instructor Station microphone and computer audio. Remember: you must mute the Instructor Station computer audio and microphone to prevent feedback loops.
