Here at the Office of Career Services, we provide a wealth of resources to prepare students for a successful career after Bridgewater College. Whether a student’s goal is to enter into meaningful employment or continue his or her education, our office is here every step of the way.
Our Services

OCS provides BC students with individualized appointments, internship development, career exploration tools, job search strategy, résumé writing, graduate and professional school planning, and access to a plethora of resources for career planning and placement.

Our Team

Sherry Talbott
Director of Career Services and Internships
Sherry majored in Communication Studies at JMU, where she also received her Masters of Science in Education. She is a member of VACE, NACE, VFIC CAREER15, and the Staunton-Augusta Rotary Club. She has been the Director at OCS since 2006.
Morgan Vega Gomez
Administrative Assistant of Career Services and Internships
Morgan graduated from BC in 2014. She majored in English, minored in Art, and received a Spanish recognition. As a student, she interned at Under the Radar indie music magazine. She is a member of the Shenandoah Valley Writers Group.
