This assignment allowed me to use a pre-assessment and post-assessment to track learner progress during a mini-unit, which shows my ability to use <strong>multiple methods of assessment<\/strong> in the classroom. This assignment aligns with\u00a0<strong>InTASC Standard #6<\/strong>\u00a0because it includes a\u00a0<strong>variety of assessments<\/strong>\u00a0throughout a Comma Unit for seventh-grade students. The assignment shows how pre-assessment data was collected and used to\u00a0<strong>guide instruction<\/strong> throughout the core lessons of the unit. My lesson plans for student teaching align with\u00a0<strong>InTASC Standard #7<\/strong>\u00a0because I\u00a0<strong>planned my instruction<\/strong>\u00a0based on the needs of the students in my class. I used my\u00a0<strong>content area knowledge\u00a0<\/strong>to create informative and engaging lessons that challenged all students. The students are challenged to <strong>make connections<\/strong> and <strong>strengthen their learning skills<\/strong>. The students are also encouraged to <strong>apply their content knowledge in various, meaningful ways <\/strong>throughout the lesson.
