{"id":372,"date":"2024-04-21T23:15:40","date_gmt":"2024-04-21T23:15:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.bridgewater.edu\/?page_id=372"},"modified":"2024-04-21T23:15:40","modified_gmt":"2024-04-21T23:15:40","slug":"core-memory","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wp.bridgewater.edu\/mrankin\/core-memory\/","title":{"rendered":"Core Memory"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>When I was younger, my Mom went to one of those toy parties that are held at people\u2019s houses.\u00a0She took me along, which was probably not a great idea.\u00a0They had all kinds of primary colored toys that you could stack, balls that rolled down slides, shakers that made noise and you could watch the colorful objects inside swirl around.\u00a0One thing my mom bought was a book: <em>Cock-A-Doodle-Doo! Barnyard Hullabaloo<\/em>. The book was big and colorful and it was about all the barnyard animals.\u00a0There was a comical rhyming paragraph that described each animal and I can remember my mom reading it to me.\u00a0Sometimes she would get tongue-tied reciting the silly rhymes but that just made the book that much more fun.\u00a0My mom loved that book so much that she bought <em>Commotion in the Ocean<\/em> too.
