heck out the Bracket Guide!

For anyone who may not have ever played, or those who need a refresher, here’s a little information on how it all works:

1.  Pick which competitor you think will win in a battle (or sometimes they just meet each other apathetically).  Each combatant is seeded according to their biology, ecology, behaviors, etc.  Lower the seed, better chance of winning.  But there will be upsets! 
2. Lower seed gets home habitat advantage within the brackets.  Once we get to the Final Roar and Championship habitat is random.
3. Follow #2026MMM for blow by blow battling and scientific trash talking.  Follow @MMMletsgo for the clean, results only version (created for K12 observers). We will also send out an email summarizing the results and update the large bracket on the bulletin board. 
4. The auto-scoring bracket will update your score sometime the next day after the battle. We will update your standing amongst all the BC competitors too.
5. If you have the most points at the end, you win the grand prize! Don’t worry if your bracket doesn’t look too promising after the first couple of rounds, though. We run a drawing for prizes each week, so you still have plenty of chances to earn a prize!
