This website is the final product of an undergraduate summer research project. Supervised by Dr. Martin Kalb (Bridgewater College), undergraduate history major Joshua Stein made use of the John Stenger collection at Bridgewater College’s special collections. The project began with the organization and evaluation of that collection. It soon moved towards the interpretation of the materials – with the help of Special Collections Librarian Stephanie Gardner. Additional research,\u00a0a trip to Akron, Ohio, and several drafts eventually culminated in this website.<\/p>\n
