Lauren is a junior majoring in Environmental Science with a minor in Professional Writing. After discovering the topic of sustainability in grade school, she has since assumed responsibility for living in a way that deeply respects the environment. Her goal is to provide the same opportunity for youth in her community to learn about sustainable living, so that they too may become inspired as she was.
Allisa is a junior studying Political Science with a minor in Business Administration. After Bridgewater, she hopes to continue her education by attending graduate school for Public Policy with an emphasis in Education Policy. She looks forward to using her knowledge of education legislation to help collaborate with local educators and create lesson plans to prepare the students for their Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) exams at the end of the school year.
Noah is a Senior Economics major with a government policy concentration. After college he intends to work towards a career with the FAA. He looks forward to teaching children how they can put their minds and hands to work to accomplish goals.
Rachel is a senior studying Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. After graduating she is planning on pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. She hopes to have a career in corrections working with incarcerated youth and adults. She is excited to use her knowledge and experience in Psychology to inspire youth to work together to make a difference in their communities.
Sydney is a Senior studying Environmental Science with an emphasis in Wildlife Biology. In the Summer of 2018, she completed a research project with Bridgewater professor Dr. Tim Kreps in which they created a sustainable garden that supplied local food pantries with over 1,700 pounds of fresh produce. She has interests in sustainable agriculture and educating the public about environmental issues.
Emilia is a junior studying Biology with a minor in Psychology. After graduating she is planning to further her education in a graduate program so that she can pursue a career in the medical field. She looks forward to helping students understand the impact the environment’s health has on their own.
